Providing employees with access to a workout facility shows a commitment to wellness. As such, many employers offer gym memberships as part of their employee benefits. However, every employee is unique and their preference for physical activity varies. There isn’t a “one size fits all” way to provide workout options….or is there?
Introducing Peerfit! A unique way to provide employees access to the physical activity of their choice! With Peerfit, a company can provide every employee with access to multiple workout facilities, so employees can personalize their fitness benefit. Better yet, the company only pays for the activities/classes that an employee participates in, which can help reduce unnecessary expenses.
Employee Benefits can include more than insurance. If you’ve been looking for a unique benefit to add to your benefit package you need to check out Peerfit!
Let us know if you would like an introduction to the Peerfit team.

A comprehensive benefit package not only serves to attract and retain high quality employees, it can keep employee morale high and positively impact productivity. According to MetLife’s most recent U.S. Employee Benefit Trends Study (conducted fall of 2016), employees feel that the benefits they receive from work result in less worrying with 74% sharing that having insurance/benefits give them “peace of mind.” This peace of mind allows them to focus on work rather then spend time at work worrying.
The study also found that employees (58%) desire the ability to customize their benefits to meet their needs and employees (52%) are willing to bear more of benefit costs for this customization. Employers can capitalize on this by offering voluntary employee benefits, giving employees easy access to products they want. It’s a win win situation.
